  • There are usually two or three days when you can get pregnant in each menstrual cycle. This happens about two weeks after your last period started.

By counting the days since your last period, you can guess when you might be ovulating and when you might have gotten pregnant.

The most accurate way to find out the conception date is through an ultrasound. Babies grow at a steady rate, so an ultrasound can measure the baby's age. This can give a more precise date than just counting days.

  • The pain a woman may experience from an abortion procedure will be different for everyone. It depends on how her body reacts to treatment and how much pain she can handle.

Other things that affect pain are the type of abortion you have and how developed the fetus is.

You can discuss these things with our nurses during an appointment. You can also text a nurse privately at (802) 736-7464 anytime for free.
